Research Experience:

Dr Mohammed Abdo Hashem is an assistant Professor at Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering-Universiti Malaysia Pahang since 2015. His research interests include, but are not limited to the following areas: Autonomous Navigation System, Robot Path Planning, Industrial Robotics, Mobile Manipulators, Sensors Fusion, Mechatronics Systems, Automation and Control, Intelligent Active Force Control, Signal and Image Processing.

He worked as engineer in individual industrial companies for more than 3 years.  In 2015, he has been appointed as a leader of control, software and automation teaching group, and leader of Mechatronoic System and Design research group, in faculty of manufacturing engineering- University Malaysia Pahang. In addition, due to of teaching performance in semester II 2014/2015, II 2015/2016, I&II 2016/2017, I&II 2017/2018, certificates of excellent teaching performance from Universiti Malaysia Pahang has been offered. 

In the research, total three patents have been granted to his novel products, namely are novel approach so called laser simulator approach for path planning, intelligent spanner and the autonomous road marks painting system; with furthermore publishing more than 20 papers in high ISI and Scopus indexed journals and conferences. Four PhD and master students are currently perusing their study under his supervision as the main supervisor with a fifth student as co-supervisor and more than 24 as FYP students. Total 5 grants as leader and 4 as member have been received with total amount 300k RM as project leader.
